Dear Pastor Ted Wilson, Honorable President of the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church
It has been quite awhile now, that I have been inspirationally enticed to contact you, but until this moment, I have been hesitant to do so. I would imagine that you are an extremely busy man, with the involvement of your duties and affairs of the General Conference. However, I am requesting your clarification of one of the many issues of which I find interest and clarifications, This one, is of a scriptural subject, concerning the Seven (7) Yearly Sabbaths, which our forefathers have written about, and regarded. I have been under the impression that they are as follows: (1) Passover, (2) Festival of the Unleavened Bread (which begins after Passover), (3) Festival of First Fruits, (4) Festival of Pentecost (which occurs, 5 days after Passover), (5) Festival of Trumpets, (6) Day of Atonement, and (7) Festival of Tabernacles.
I was born in the country of Haiti, and brought up on the Seventh Day Adventist religious teachings, a discipline which I continue to uphold. My concern, however, relates to the understanding of God's luni-
I am aware that our Seventh Day Adventist Church/Organization is not in keeping with the celebration of the Seven Yearly Sabbaths, and I humbly request that you elaborate on this matter as it concerns to the Scriptural teachings of such adherence, as it a concern of mine, and many who may not care to, or would take the time to write to you regarding their issues with the omission of these Feast Days.
